Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day to day project tasks as part of the development and execution of lead nurturing and marketing automation initiatives (email, SMS, other channels).
• Collaborate on building and maintaining dynamic campaigns, communication flows, and segmentation strategies that enhance personalization and effectiveness - based on business needs.
• Create and optimize email and SMS communications using dynamic content tailored to various prospective student segments.
• Analyze event & inbound campaign performance metrics and identify opportunities to refine campaign logic and improve user experience.
• Support the regular digital and event-based marketing needs of the college's partnership managers (recruiters) including but not limited to developing creative briefs, executing Facebook events, and more.
• Support in the development and maintenance of Google My Business and Apple Maps listings as needed.
• Assist in the content and asset delivery of advertising and lead generation digital media campaigns in support of Galen's media agency partner.
• Continue to find ways to evolve and enhance performance marketing reports.
• Stay current with social/digital media trends and make recommendations as necessary on the direction and new modes of communication.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 3+ years in digital marketing or online marketing role.
• Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, or HubSpot, or expert-level experience with email/SMS marketing platforms such as ConstantContact or MailChimp.
• Experience with CRM & data management is a plus.
• Experience with WordPress CMS, WP plugins such as Yoast SEO, and HTML/CSS knowledge a big plus.
• Experience with integrated marketing initiatives & strategy is a plus.
• Experience with event management software, such as Cvent, Eventbrite or AirTable.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.
• Experience with tagging, tracking, and data integrations which power Galen's marketing technology stack.
