Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational aspects of the marketing department, including managing marketing technology, streamlining lead management processes, and optimizing marketing strategies.
  • Ensure efficient creation and execution of campaigns by leveraging data analysis to improve overall marketing effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
  • Create, update, and optimize content on MED-EL US websites, professional and consumer emails, blogs, and other channels where appropriate.
  • Manage content approval process via TrackWise.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy.
  • Monitor campaign budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Lead digital advertising campaigns across channels such as Google Ads.
  • Manage and optimize marketing automation/analytic tools (such as Matomo), CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze marketing performance metrics, such as conversion rates, ROI, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Create PowerBI reports and dashboards to visualize data and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Define and evaluate data required for launching, monitoring, and optimizing marketing campaigns.
  • Support segmentation efforts for targeted marketing efforts based on demographics, behavior, and purchasing patterns.
  • Work closely with business systems, sales, and customer experience teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and marketing teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve marketing effectiveness and drive growth.
  • Support the development of long-term marketing strategies through KPIs, metrics, and recommendations.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate on data clean-up initiatives to ensure data accuracy.
  • Accept special projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, communications, or marketing.
  • At least 3 years experience in web content management.
  • Required competency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of web technology, including content management systems.
  • Solid front-end programming skills (HTML, CSS, JS).
  • Experience managing PPC and SEO campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Located within or willing to relocate to Durham, NC.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Progress Sitefinity, WordPress, email marketing platforms, Google Analytics.
  • Preferred experience with UI and UX design.
