About the Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Opengear is responsible for executing and optimizing digital marketing programs across various channels, including email, website, and campaign infrastructure. The role involves managing omni-channel campaigns, performance tracking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth in a company that designs and manufactures data center and remote site management products for a global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all website updates in WordPress, including content changes, SEO, CRO, and performance optimization
  • Plan, build, and optimize email campaigns, landing pages, and nurture workflows in Pardot and Unbounce
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve email performance and optimize landing page conversions
  • Build and maintain email templates, nurture journeys, and dynamic content
  • Ensure email deliverability, compliance, and personalization using audience and intent data
  • Collaborate with product marketing, BDRs, and events teams to align campaign execution across segments
  • Support execution of omni-channel digital campaigns including email, display, paid search, and retargeting
  • Manage UTM tracking, tagging, and analytics dashboards; monitor performance and report insights
  • Optimize web pages for SEO, SEM, PPC, and UX conversion improvements
  • Coordinate with external vendors and development partners to maintain digital quality and technical performance
  • Troubleshoot issues, validate data flows between systems, and support ongoing Martech improvements

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of digital marketing experience, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Pardot, and landing page builders like Unbounce
  • Understanding of lead nurture, lifecycle marketing, and email best practices
  • Experience with UTM tracking, Google Analytics, and CRO tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email and web troubleshooting
  • Comfort working across marketing, sales operations, and vendor teams to drive outcomes
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and excited by experimentation and iteration

Nice to Have

  • Experience in technology, infrastructure or B2B fields

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in digital marketing (2-5 years)
  • Proficiency with WordPress, Pardot, Unbounce
  • Knowledge of lead nurture, lifecycle marketing, and email best practices
  • Experience with UTM tracking, Google Analytics, and CRO tools
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for troubleshooting
