About the Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Winter Park Resort is responsible for shaping how guests discover, plan, and experience the resort across digital channels. Located in Winter Park, CO, the role involves creating personalized and inspiring digital experiences that build trust with audiences, support campaign goals, and drive revenue. The position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver relevant content via email, app, web, and chatbot channels, using guest insights and performance data to continuously improve the digital journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance Guest Engagement & Brand Connection by aligning messaging across email, app, and web to support seasonal campaigns and guest needs, maintaining a consistent brand voice, and identifying content gaps.
  • Support Digital Campaign Execution by partnering with internal teams to execute high-impact campaigns, coordinate lifecycle automations, promotions, seasonal launches, and participate in campaign QA, scheduling, and performance reviews.
  • Leverage Data for Continuous Optimization by monitoring performance metrics, providing actionable insights, reporting on campaign and channel performance, and collaborating on segmentation strategies to improve message relevance and conversion.
  • Support web and eCommerce content updates to ensure accuracy and alignment with marketing priorities.
  • Champion Cross-Channel Excellence by maintaining operational consistency across web, email, and app, contributing to cross-department collaboration, and supporting guest-facing tools like chatbots and app messaging to enhance digital wayfinding.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage and execute multi-channel digital campaigns with strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Experience with CRM and CDP platforms to build and deploy segmentation and lifecycle journeys.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engagement metrics and present actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with performance analytics platforms such as Adobe and Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of digital project management tools like Jira, Basecamp, and Airtable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines with moderate supervision.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with seasonal shifts and evolving priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in digital marketing or lifecycle marketing.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Acoustic, Ascent360, or comparable email marketing and customer data platforms.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for email editing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Experience with QA, campaign setup, and digital workflow tools such as Jira, Basecamp, and Airtable.
  • A passion for outdoor activities and the mountain lifestyle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in a digital marketing or lifecycle marketing role.
