About the Role

Ocozzio is a hybrid between a traditional marketing strategy company and an ad agency. For their clients, they act as the marketing department, focusing on helping clients grow their business through creating resonant messaging, brand awareness, effective selling tools, and promoting the client's brand promise. They emphasize understanding business and sales growth rather than just artistic marketing efforts. The Digital Marketing Strategist works collaboratively with internal teams to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns that meet client goals, review analytics, and optimize campaigns accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create digital marketing strategies for clients based on their goals and budgets including recommended tactics, platforms, frequency and most effective content.
  • Work in coordination with Junior Digital Marketing Strategist to implement paid search, social, and retargeting campaigns.
  • Coordinate with web development to ensure appropriate tags are in place to track campaign attribution.
  • Remain current on issues related to tracking and recommend 3rd party tracking solutions to improve 1st touch attribution visibility.
  • Create campaign reports to include website, email, social media, and paid search results and provide insight into campaign optimizations.
  • Develop automated Google Analytics reports and dashboards to provide insight into website and campaign performance.
  • Assist clients to understand and interpret their data.
  • Attend client meetings and new-client onboarding meetings as needed.
  • Work closely with project leaders, marketing strategists, and copywriters to understand client goals, industry, and target audience.
  • Assist in the growth of digital marketing capabilities for Ocozzio teams through research, education, and action.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Technology lead to ensure best practices are followed and marketing tools are leveraged, including HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, and Loomly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Digital Marketing including implementation of paid search, display, retargeting, and social media campaigns.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience using Google Tag Manager.
  • Advanced Google Analytics experience including creation of reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced experience using HubSpot, Loomly, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn.
  • G4, HubSpot, Google Analytics certifications expertise a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of tracking/tagging and attribution options, barriers, and solutions.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website accessibility.
  • Experience in email marketing campaign development using platforms including Constant Contact, HubSpot, and ActOn is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the health insurance industry.
