About the Role

The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Media Coordinator. This position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and provides social media, design, photography and video support to engage our membership and elevate the PEI brand. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and performance analytics to optimize our digital media efforts effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead visual storyteller, capturing and editing high-quality videos and photos for monthly news videos, promotional campaigns, member testimonials, events and online use.
  • Oversee and grow PEI's social media presence; collaborate on strategy, maintain content calendars, and track performance metrics.
  • Create compelling print and digital materials, including brochures, membership materials, sponsorship programs, banners, social media graphics, presentations, and more that align with our brand identity.
  • Support ongoing design updates and improvements to PEI's website to ensure content accuracy, SEO best practices, and brand consistency.
  • Set up and manage the PEI Event mobile app for all conferences.
  • Assist with the research, planning, and implementation of marketing campaigns across all channels, helping to drive member engagement and awareness.
  • Manage development of directional and informational signage and artwork for structures for all PEI conferences.
  • Ensure all communications reflect PEI's tone, style, and mission while maintaining an organized library of visual assets.
  • Support other PEI communications projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • One to two years of relevant professional experience related to communications, graphic design and/or marketing.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and using social media analytical tools.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong photography and video editing skills.
  • Experience with website management platforms (WordPress).
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing best practices, and email marketing tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage, track, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills in keeping team members informed of ongoing projects and any emerging issues or communications opportunities.
  • Must be initiative-oriented, a solution seeker, and have the ability to self-start assignments with appropriate direction.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital marketing analytics and performance tracking.
