Digital Media Coordinator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of all Rochester Knighthawks social media channels, including X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
• Stay up to date with relevant trends applicable to the Knighthawks brand and ancillary accounts.
• Assist in leading event coverage of all Knighthawks games and related events.
• Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate efforts and cross-promotional opportunities on theme nights, community initiatives, and sponsorship activations.
• Monitor social conversations around the Knighthawks, NLL, and current social/cultural landscape.
• Focus on brand building, awareness, and relevancy to grow the Rochester Knighthawks brand locally and regionally.
• Participate in brainstorming, creating, and executing content ideas for company initiatives.
• Assist in influencer marketing strategies and manage relationships with local teams, affiliates, NLL social, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience managing brand accounts.
• Strong understanding of social media culture, platforms, trends, and strategy.
• Proficiency in using data-driven strategies to drive KPIs and decision making.
• Experience with DSLR and mirrorless cameras and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, including non-traditional hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for social media, pop culture, and sports.
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience using DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
