About the Role

The Digital Media Performance and AdTech Specialist at Apple is responsible for building upon the company's current performance media approach, testing aggressively, exploring new ad tech opportunities, and ensuring results and learnings are shared across cross-functional partners. The role involves managing large media budgets, optimizing campaigns, and staying ahead of evolving ad tech and search platforms within a global media environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a multimillion dollar budget, optimizing media spend to achieve constant improvements in campaign goals.
  • Owning the learning agenda, including creative and incremental tests spanning multiple countries and lines of business.
  • Building a strong partnership with the global media agency to foster creativity and effectiveness.
  • Staying ahead of new ad tech and search platforms as the media landscape evolves.
  • Identifying insights and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and inform strategic decisions.
  • Briefing and supporting global media teams in implementing or replicating local campaigns.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in media advertising with familiarity in retail or e-commerce media.
  • Experience in initiating, briefing, and executing performance campaigns across search and Amazon.
  • Deep understanding of digital ad tech, keyword and bid strategies across various platforms.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with teams and third-party vendors to develop innovative media strategies.
  • Managing large media budgets and negotiating favorable media placements aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience developing, managing, and analyzing online promotion campaigns.

Nice to Have

  • Proven experience in implementing A/B testing strategies for ad creatives, audiences, or platforms to improve conversion or engagement rates.
  • Experience in audience and media planning with extensive knowledge in performance media analytics.
  • Ability to shift between strategic and detailed approaches depending on the audience.
  • Thought leadership in emerging ad technology.
  • International media planning or buying experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence using data.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in demanding situations with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort working in a creative environment.
