About the Role

The Digital Optimization Manager at T-Mobile delivers split (A/B) testing and personalization campaigns across all company digital channels and brands, driving incremental business value every day. This role partners with customer teams to identify, prioritize, and implement customer experience improvements through iterative testing and measurement while managing all strategy and operations related to optimization and personalization activities across web and app campaigns. The position involves strategic mentorship, consulting, and standard methodology formulation within the company's digital optimization practices. The role is available in Herdon, VA and Bellevue, WA with a hybrid work policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan & implement optimization and personalization digital campaigns, including defining test strategy, goals, ROI, tracking metrics, sample size, and campaign duration in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to and work from a testing roadmap to ensure campaigns are run on time and without conflict.
  • Lead A/B testing process from intake to feasibility, creation, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Proactively communicate project status and lead deliverable/launch expectations with all partners.
  • Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to evaluate success, develop insights into customer behavior, and assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Communicate optimization program results to a broad audience including partners and executives.
  • Promote a culture of testing and optimization within the department and across the company.
  • Evangelize the business value of Optimization/Personalization and its contributions to business goals and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, UX/design or equivalent degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience in fast-paced, high-volume organizations.
  • 2-4 years managing optimization projects for large-scale e-commerce or content marketing sites.
  • Project management ability to run multiple projects in highly-matrixed organizations.
  • Skilled in Agile, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in development and management of workforce management plans.
  • Optimization subject matter expertise with a solid understanding of statistics related to hypothesis testing.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure, analyze, and report on KPIs and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-wide Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and targeting capabilities in optimization tools, including DMPs like Adobe Audience Manager.
  • Advanced knowledge of Digital Optimization A/B testing tools (Adobe Target preferred).
  • Experience working with websites, social media, and email campaign platforms; strong knowledge of digital marketing or e-commerce.
  • Web development skills such as JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Angular, and HTML; ability to troubleshoot using Browser Developer tools.
  • At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
