About the Role

The Digital Strategist/Data-driven Marketing role at Acxiom involves collaborating closely with clients to develop and implement digital data strategies aligned with their business goals. The position requires leveraging Acxiom data to identify engagement opportunities, enhance digital marketing impact, and act as an extension of the client's marketing team to contribute to their success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and align digital strategy by collaborating with client stakeholders to align digital initiatives with business objectives and enterprise priorities.
  • Co-develop digital roadmaps, success metrics, and KPIs that guide execution and measure impact.
  • Generate audience and market insights by researching and analyzing target audiences, behaviors, and preferences, and identifying market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Co-create content and messaging strategies, advising clients on audience segmentation and developing content frameworks that resonate with target segments.
  • Design and guide digital campaign execution by planning and overseeing digital marketing and ad campaigns, including those via Adobe Audience Manager, and defining campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Enable data-driven optimization by guiding the use of analytics tools to monitor performance, synthesizing insights, and facilitating workshops for campaign refinement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by acting as a trusted advisor to client teams, fostering alignment, and communicating strategies and progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior associates despite not having direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, marketing strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering digital strategies with a strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing data and data management practices.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of engaging C-suite executives and client teams.
  • Ability to prioritize, focus, and manage multiple complex workstreams with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems such as CRM, DMPs, CDPs, and content platforms.
  • Proficiency in creating client-ready deliverables using MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Strong facilitation and client relationship management skills.
  • Collaborative team player with mentoring and leadership experience, knowing when to lead or support.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and adaptable to evolving client needs.
  • Willingness to manage multiple deadlines, multitask, and work extended hours when required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (approximately 1 week per month).

Nice to Have

  • MBA with emphasis on business analytics or marketing.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Adobe Audience Manager Platform Certification.
  • Knowledge of Acxiom data products.
