Key Responsibilities

Assist in executing digital marketing projects for multiple businesses across Nelnet's diversified portfolio.
Support day-to-day client relationships, creation of content and reports for websites and other digital properties.
Manage the day-to-day turnaround of work and ensure the team produces high-quality work.
Learn about Nelnet's business, product/service offering, markets, and competition.
Prepare marketing reports and meeting notes for digital projects.
Prepare analytics reports and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
Research and track competitor websites, social media, and landing pages.
Support project management and team backup as directed by supervisor, including monitoring progress of jobs through Workfront.
Proof and review all work from the creative team for grammatical, technical, visual accuracy, and brand consistency.
Assist in compiling information, secondary research, and data for various projects and campaigns.
Populate website content through Content Management Systems.
Conduct quality assurance on web, email, and digital projects.
Perform some clerical duties and support other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Working toward a 4-year degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.
Prior internships in marketing or related fields are ideal.
Dedicated interest in digital marketing.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Good at building team relationships and multi-tasking.
Quick to learn and work independently.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to follow directions.
PC skills including Excel, Outlook, Word.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, SEMRush, or similar platforms is a plus.

Qualifications
