About the Role

The Digital Technical Developer at Atrium Health is responsible for executing cross-channel and platform personalization strategies, developing dynamic content, and serving as the technical lead for campaign execution. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to optimize personalization performance, ensuring quality assurance, governance, and best practices in platform setup, data integration, and tracking. The position supports enterprise marketing initiatives within a large, integrated health system, leveraging technical skills to deliver personalized digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute cross-channel and platform personalization strategy including email, SMS, push, and web experiences, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer experience objectives.
  • Develop and implement dynamic content and audience segmentation strategies by partnering closely with CRM, data, and content teams to deliver relevant, timely, and personalized experiences.
  • Translate personalization strategies into scalable, technically sound solutions by building, testing, and launching automations, journeys, and content blocks using AMPscript, SQL, and Marketing Cloud tools.
  • Serve as the hands-on technical lead for campaign execution, ensuring quality assurance, governance, and best practices in platform setup, data integration, and tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to continuously optimize personalization performance through testing, analytics, and iterative improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Promotion, Communication, or Computer Science; Master's degree preferred.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting enterprise marketing or sales campaigns, preferably in a large integrated multi-site/state organization.
  • Technical experience may include use of Sitecore, structured data elements, knowledge of HTML 4/5 & CSS 3 (able to write/edit/troubleshoot code using a text editor), basic knowledge of responsive/mobile layout techniques (able to use Bootstrap to create a page layout), or basic knowledge of web page performance testing and optimization.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.

Nice to Have

  • Preferred certification for Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Promotion, Communication, or Computer Science.
  • Masters degree preferred.
