About the Role

Monks is hiring for the role of Director of Affiliate & Influencer Marketing. This position will be part of a growing unit within an established digital marketing agency. The role involves managing clients' affiliate and influencer programs, developing publishers, communicating with clients, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration within larger marketing strategies. The director will be a senior leader driving influencer growth, participating in new business pitches, and evolving client programs within their digital marketing needs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of junior affiliate and influencer specialists.
Develop publishers to ensure clients work with best-in-class affiliate and influencer partners.
Serve as an expert in affiliate and influencer marketing within business development and pitch scenarios, demonstrating thought leadership and innovative ideas.
Work closely with influencers, content creators, and top-of-funnel affiliate publishers to ensure affiliate presence across all parts of the marketing funnel.
Conduct weekly reporting and client calls to communicate performance metrics and strategy.
Analyze and report on existing programs.
Collaborate with digital strategy teams to implement affiliate best practices within the larger agency offering.
Project yearly, quarterly, and monthly affiliate budgets.
Work with integrated media teams to determine budget allocation, audience targeting, and creative analyses.
Execute quarterly business reviews and other client-facing presentations reviewing performance, insights, and strategic opportunities.
Manage and grow relationships with affiliate and agency clients to demonstrate credibility and trustworthiness in affiliate programs.

Requirements

8 years of direct affiliate and/or influencer experience.
History of responsibility and leadership for midsize to large clients.
Strong digital agency experience with multiple revenue-driving channels.
Proven strategy experience with digital marketing platforms such as ShareASale, Impact Radius, Commission Junction, Rakuten, and Google Analytics.
Experience managing large budgets.
Experience working in a client-facing role with the ability to work autonomously.
Proficiency in G Suite, especially Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of multitasking with multiple clients.
Eagerness to work as part of a fast-growing team.

Nice to Have

Experience with digital marketing platforms that coincide with affiliate marketing.
Experience in a rapidly growing or entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

Experience working with digital marketing platforms such as ShareASale, Impact Radius, Commission Junction, Rakuten, and Google Analytics.
