About the Role

The Principal, Affiliate Marketing & Direct Mail is responsible for leading and expanding the company's affiliate program and direct-to-consumer mail strategy. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, external vendors, and data analysis to drive revenue growth, optimize marketing campaigns, and enhance brand engagement. The position is based at Brooks' Seattle headquarters and requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in digital marketing and eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Affiliate Program strategy and expand the program to include content, influencers, and partner networks to drive incremental revenue and open new marketing opportunities.
  • Manage the direct-to-consumer mail strategy and process, including briefing, pagination, and creative execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and execute tactical marketing campaigns (Tier 2,3) for affiliate and direct mail programs.
  • Manage partner agencies and external vendors, providing clear direction and strategic leadership.
  • Coordinate the request process for program creative needs and contribute to design feedback for direct mail campaigns.
  • Support the launch of referral marketing programs in partnership with Loyalty, Ecommerce, and Digital Products teams.
  • Oversee budget management, including quarterly/yearly forecasting and modeling in collaboration with external vendors and agencies.
  • Analyze campaign data, draw insights, and communicate results to optimize spending and improve performance.
  • Report on eCommerce campaign performance, including weekly KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Develop test and learn opportunities across programs with aligned KPIs.
  • Own measurement and reporting on all affiliate and direct mail programs, working closely with Paid Media agencies, data vendors, and Analytics teams.
  • Monitor and report monthly KPIs to stakeholders via dashboards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Digital Products, Marketing, Creative, eCommerce, Analytics, IT) and external vendors to deliver programs and workstreams.
  • Define tools and metrics to measure, report, and optimize marketing investments.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience executing digital customer experiences, preferably within consumer brands driving performance programs.
  • 5+ years of experience working within an eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or Paid Media team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to access data and create strategies to drive brand growth.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau and Adobe Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, including slide composition.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and a bias towards action.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong runner focus with the ability to anticipate and react to runner needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Tableau and Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, or other project management tools.
