The role of Director, AI Products is a critical leadership position within the Product team serving as a strategic bridge to partners across Marketing, Technology, and our external AI partner ecosystem. They are the strategic product leader for multiple AI product teams and are responsible for a particular portfolio of AI driven products or platforms. This individual is a passionate advocate for the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence throughout the organization and must be adept at navigating a broad range of stakeholders and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy, and success metrics (e.g., OKRs) for AI-enabled applications, products, and platforms.
  • Serve as a key liaison with existing and potential AI technology partners, influencing their roadmaps to support our organizational AI goals.
  • Lead and develop a team of AI Product Managers, Product Owners, and Analysts focused on building and enhancing AI-powered experiences across key touchpoints.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and communicate a cohesive AI product roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Data Science teams to ensure the responsible and scalable deployment of AI solutions.
  • Identify and champion AI opportunities that enhance current capabilities or enable entirely new business functions and customer experiences.
  • Monitor AI, machine learning, and broader technology trends to identify strategic opportunities and guide product innovation.
  • Act as an internal thought leader and advocate for AI, promoting a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing AI product talent; provide knowledge transfer, feedback, and professional development.
  • Drive AI products throughout their lifecycle, using insights from experimentation, user feedback, and analytics to optimize performance and value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or technology leadership, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling AI/ML-powered products or platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies for business applicability and technical feasibility.
  • Experience managing end-to-end AI product lifecycles—from problem discovery and model training to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML performance metrics, model evaluation, and experimentation techniques (e.g., A/B testing).
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to manage day-to-day delivery and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and change management skills, with experience driving enterprise-wide transformation.
  • Experienced mentor with a passion for developing future AI product leaders.
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in retail or consumer-facing industries.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and platforms commonly used in enterprise settings.
  • Experience working with external AI partners and influencing technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or technology leadership.
  • At least 3-5 years specifically focused on AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

  • The pay range for this position is $143,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year with the opportunity for additional compensation pursuant to the company's bonus plan.
