About the Role

The Director of Analyst Relations at Apple is a highly creative communicator responsible for establishing and maintaining lasting relationships with industry analysts and experts covering Apple and the broader technology space. The role involves distilling the differentiating qualities and user benefits of Apple's hardware, software, services, chips, and other technologies to key stakeholders. Working cross-functionally with teams such as Product Marketing, Market Insights, Hardware Technologies, and engineering, the Director will engage with analyst firms, review reports, and ensure analysts are briefed and up-to-date on all things Apple.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry analysts and experts covering Apple and the technology sector.
  • Distill and communicate the differentiating qualities and user benefits of Apple's products and technologies to stakeholders.
  • Engage with analyst firms writing and speaking about Apple, review their reports, and keep them informed about Apple developments.
  • Plan and execute analyst events, support major product launches, and coordinate momentum activities.
  • Write and develop thoughtful communications and materials related to analyst relations.
  • Organize and staff events and analyst briefings.
  • Identify and manage issues in a continuous news cycle, prioritizing and simplifying key opportunities and projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years experience in public relations or analyst relations roles, in either an agency or corporate setting.
  • Experience effectively communicating the intricacies of products, services, silicon chips, corporate values, earnings news, and market positioning.
  • Strong analyst and influencer contacts with a proven track record of leading events, briefings, and building relationships with analyst firms.
  • Creative mindset capable of telling compelling narratives and conveying technically-rich information.
  • Experience managing launches, events, and momentum analyst programs.
  • Ability to work seamlessly across product marketing, engineering, and other internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to analyze analyst reports and sentiment quickly.

Qualifications
