Director, Business Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop annually and implement a comprehensive internal and external strategic marketing plan to meet company census and revenue objectives
• Identify potential business partners and pursue sales leads and prospective clients
• Oversee Business Development Team to ensure effective efforts to generate new referring partnerships and sales leads
• Provide direct supervision, training, and support to all members of the business development/outreach team
• Build and maintain relationships with referring partners
• Work directly with referring partners on leads and admissions as appropriate
• Attend weekly leadership team meetings
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the CEO and leadership team
• Uphold the company's mission and values
• Communicate effectively and promptly with inquiries
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA in all transactions
• Report accurate information regarding policies and programming to inquiries
• Maintain knowledge of current market conditions and report to the executive team
• Assist in creating marketing materials, developing new markets, and marketing methods
• Attend conferences and trainings
• Develop and present marketing and sales reports as needed
• Collaborate with team on admissions and marketing to align with growth strategy
• Travel and represent the company in meetings and conferences nationally and regionally
• Provide marketing advice, counsel, and support to all departments
• Ensure direct reports stay compliant in trainings and competencies
• Complete reviews for all direct reports in a timely manner

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Extensive knowledge of the recovery industry
• Previous supervisory experience

Nice to Have

• Able to communicate 12-step knowledge and other recovery language
• Knowledge of varying intervention models
