About the Role

The Director of Business Development at Red Oak Recovery is responsible for promoting the organization's programs and establishing long-term relationships with referring professionals and programs. Red Oak Recovery is a trauma-intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment facility focused on young adult women, utilizing research-supported clinical modalities to ensure positive outcomes. The role involves oversight of marketing, business development, and admissions, reporting directly to the CEO, and requires representing the organization in various conferences and meetings nationally and regionally.

Key Responsibilities

Develop annually and implement a comprehensive internal and external strategic marketing plan to meet company census and revenue objectives
Identify potential business partners and pursue sales leads and prospective clients
Oversee Business Development Team to ensure effective efforts to generate new referring partnerships and sales leads
Provide direct supervision, training, and support to all members of the business development/outreach team
Build and maintain relationships with referring partners
Work directly with referring partners on leads and admissions as appropriate
Attend weekly leadership team meetings
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the CEO and leadership team
Uphold the company's mission and values
Communicate effectively and promptly with inquiries
Ensure compliance with HIPAA in all transactions
Report accurate information regarding policies and programming to inquiries
Maintain knowledge of current market conditions and report to the executive team
Assist in creating marketing materials, developing new markets, and marketing methods
Attend conferences and trainings
Develop and present marketing and sales reports as needed
Collaborate with team on admissions and marketing to align with growth strategy
Travel and represent the company in meetings and conferences nationally and regionally
Provide marketing advice, counsel, and support to all departments
Ensure direct reports stay compliant in trainings and competencies
Complete reviews for all direct reports in a timely manner

Requirements

Minimum of four years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree or higher
Extensive knowledge of the recovery industry
Previous supervisory experience

Nice to Have

Able to communicate 12-step knowledge and other recovery language
Knowledge of varying intervention models
