The role of Director of Business Development at Coreworks, a Flex company, involves identifying and qualifying new strategic partnerships, fostering customer relationships, and driving business growth, with a focus on meeting pipeline and booking targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate new alliances with key customers to enhance Business Unit market position and drive innovative solutions in our product offerings.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of customers' business strategies, anticipated product developments, and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with Business Unit resources for mutual benefit.
  • Bring in new customers to help grow our Value Added Services within the Components space (Cloud Components- Passive, Interconnect, Mechanical).
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development Team, including Quoting, Engineering and Finance.
  • Assist existing accounts in the strategic development and execution of product roadmaps, serving as the primary point of contact for delivering Component Business Unit comprehensive solutions in concept development, design, manufacturing, and supply chain/logistics.
  • Engage with senior management in evaluating key personnel and orchestrating talent acquisition strategies to enhance business capabilities and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or equivalent study or experience.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in business development within the electronic / mechanical components market.
  • Technical familiarity with Cloud computing, datacenter infrastructure, and liquid cooling is preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and engage with executive management and customers to achieve shared objectives.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, with the capability to interpret P&L statements, balance sheets, and ROI metrics in meeting Business Unit targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align with senior management, executives, and key clients to foster productive relationships.

Nice to Have

  • Technical familiarity with Cloud computing, datacenter infrastructure, and liquid cooling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or equivalent experience.
