About the Role

As a Director on the Ipsos Creative Excellence team, you will be joining a passionate and entrepreneurial group of advertising experts dedicated to delivering impactful business solutions to the world's biggest brands. You will partner with clients in tech, healthcare, retail, entertainment, CPG (and more) to evaluate and elevate their advertising at speed and scale. The Director acts as both a strategic advisor to our clients and an essential team lead. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and proven approaches, you will lead your team from research design through results delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor with a focus on growing the business through impactful solutions rooted in quantitative and qualitative market research techniques
  • Lead and consult with account teams on strategic approaches to research design, insights development, data visualization, and storytelling that brings data to life
  • Act as a service line mentor and champion to foster team collaboration, development, and expertise through purpose-driven leadership
  • Identify operational efficiencies and empower the team to implement on a consistent basis
  • Provide coaching and guidance to more junior team members, may act as manager to one or more account managers
  • Manage and guide the team through complex situations
  • Contribute to team growth through new business development and expanded partnerships
  • Participate in initiatives that support our service line (e.g., growth, new product, employee training & engagement)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in market research, advertising, marketing, or consumer insights
  • Advertising experience is preferred
  • A bachelor's degree or higher
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience leading a high performing team
  • Strong experience with quantitative research, including survey design, sampling plans, analysis, and delivery
  • Some experience with qualitative research, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and analyzing qualitative research
  • Strong communications skills: ability to translate complex data into easy to understand and actionable insights
  • An understanding of advanced analytics
  • Proficiency with MS Office & Google Workplace (Excel, PowerPoint, Sheets, and Slides)

  • Experience with leading proposals and new business development
  • Ability to lead workshops with senior executives
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
