About the Role

The Director of Digital Product at Frontier Airlines is responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience across web and mobile platforms, supporting the airline's growth plans. This highly visible, cross-functional role involves setting strategic vision, optimizing customer pathways, and leading digital initiatives in partnership with executive leadership, IT, and business teams to enhance digital products and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and own the overall end-to-end digital product roadmap.
  • Lead digital product strategy, optimization, customer experience, eCommerce operations, and product ownership across web and mobile channels.
  • Partner with internal and external resources including BI, IT, and stakeholders to enhance the product portfolio and communicate strategic goals.
  • Create conversion-focused user experience enhancements to maximize revenue.
  • Develop digital strategies to support loyalty programs and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Meet with top-level executives and department heads to discuss initiatives to improve customer experience and revenue, and prioritize efforts accordingly.
  • Develop and own KPIs for the success of the website, mobile app, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Conduct research, user testing, and data analysis to inform optimization and merchandising decisions.
  • Identify problem areas within the customer journey and implement solutions.
  • Act as the liaison between Commercial and IT leadership, including the CIO, Web Development, QA, Business Intelligence, and Project Management.
  • Demonstrate and develop staff expertise in Business Analysts, Product Managers, Product Owners, and UX Designers.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and coordinating legal and finance approvals.
  • Design and execute A/B, multivariate, and personalization experiments to improve user experience and revenue.
  • Stay informed of the latest e-commerce and technology trends to support innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Information Technology, or relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of e-commerce experience.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of management experience overseeing large e-commerce websites and projects.
  • Proven leadership in high-volume, revenue-generating digital platforms.
  • Experience with Navitaire PSS preferred.
  • Vendor management experience required.
  • Google Tag Manager or similar experience required.
  • Google Analytics Certification required.
  • PMI-ACP Certified (Agile Certified Practitioner) preferred.
  • Expert understanding of web development, mobile, search, and data-led marketing.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to gain consensus and interface effectively with stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to run experiments and analyze insights.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to connect people and stimulate discussion.
  • Basic understanding of content funnel stages and sales skills.
  • Knowledge of code workflows and tag management.

Nice to Have

  • Navitaire PSS experience.
  • PMI-ACP Certification.
