About the Role

Dahl Consulting is partnering with a leader in the insurance industry to hire a Director for the Integrated Marketing Strategy Team. This contract position involves developing and overseeing integrated marketing campaigns, providing strategic recommendations, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The role is based in Hartford, CT, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring onsite presence three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Develop clear, insight-driven creative briefs and provide thought starters to inspire creative teams
Partner with channel leads, planning managers, and project managers to build integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives
Provide strategic marketing recommendations and guide cross-functional teams through execution
Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders throughout campaign development and rollout
Ensure creative work aligns with brand standards and approved strategies
Offer constructive, inspiring feedback to creative teams to strengthen outputs
Contribute fresh ideas grounded in a deep understanding of business goals and market trends
Oversee campaign budgets and timelines, advising on priorities and trade-offs to maximize impact
Leverage knowledge of advertising and media platforms to recommend the most effective channels and tactics
Lead, mentor, and inspire team members to perform at their best in a collaborative environment

Requirements

6+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing integrated campaigns
Strong account management and project management skills, including managing multiple clients and priorities
Deep understanding of digital marketing platforms, including web, paid media, social (paid and organic), content marketing, and video production
Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint for campaign reporting and presentations
Demonstrated success working in matrix organizations and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication abilities
Bachelor's degree required; leadership or team lead experience preferred

Nice to Have
