The Director of Marketing & Account Strategy will focus on the beauty category, acting as a marketing 'quarterback' to guide a cross-disciplinary team to build revenue-growing programs and deliver results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a marketing 'quarterback', guiding the work of a cross-disciplinary team including salespeople, account managers, and content studio professionals.
  • Build programs that enable Hearst Magazines to grow revenue while delivering powerful results for clients.
  • Coordinate efforts between branded content editors, pricing teams, audience and insight experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Pull together proposals that reflect alignment of all parties and meet client KPIs.
  • Work with salespeople to identify prospects and approach them proactively with compelling ideas that can preempt the RFP process.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing strategy and account management within a media or publishing environment.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of client KPIs and program development to meet business objectives.
  • Proactive approach to prospecting and client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
