About the Role

The Bowel Care Marketing Director at Coloplast is responsible for leading go-to-market activities supporting the bowel care portfolio, including setting strategic direction, executing downstream marketing campaigns, and leading the marketing team. This role is part of the US Marketing Leadership team, reports to the VP of Marketing, and works closely with stakeholders across the US and Global organization to drive portfolio growth, especially in a newly-opened market segment following positive reimbursement changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the Bowel Care marketing strategy across all commercial channels to achieve financial and portfolio goals.
  • Ensure awareness and recognition of a differentiated value proposition for Peristeen among target healthcare professionals (HCPs) and support program development at rehabilitation centers.
  • Identify growth opportunities and create marketing programs based on market insights and key voices, partnering with sales teams for development and implementation.
  • Lead the development and execution of product launches to drive growth and profitability.
  • Set strategies to accelerate adoption, from initial experiences to standardized programs, understanding end-user and clinician needs, competitive dynamics, and healthcare system factors.
  • Provide market assessments, insights on US consumer and clinician needs, unit forecasts, and sales expectations to inform overall strategy and future product development.
  • Ensure strong field execution through ownership of Sales Training initiatives, including onboarding and ongoing support tied to product, service, and evidence-based initiatives.
  • Lead the Bowel Care Marketing team to meet business objectives, fostering engagement, urgency, and accountability.
  • Champion product and program commercialization activities across various business functions including Executive Management, Global Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, and R&D.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Business or Marketing.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret market data, financial statements, and sales data.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically (20-40%).

  • MBA degree.
