About the Role

The Director, Marketing Sciences HIV PrEP at Gilead Sciences participates actively in Commercial efforts by providing an objective and detailed understanding of current and future markets, product performance, customers, and competitors. This role involves leveraging a broad skill set to ensure efficient execution of objectives with diverse stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making in the HIV prevention pipeline and market landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research in US, EU, CAN, and AUS markets to answer strategic questions and support the launch of HIV Prevention pipeline assets.
  • Leverage primary and secondary research insights and team inputs to design and build accurate, actionable, and evidenced-based forecasting models.
  • Develop and maintain a dashboard for tracking performance of each product and identify variations in performance versus targets.
  • Gather relevant data to evaluate performance, identify potential drivers impacting performance, and inform marketing and sales decisions.
  • Define analytical priorities in collaboration with the commercial organization and ensure successful execution of secondary analytics projects.
  • Integrate results from secondary data analysis with primary market research and competitive intelligence into actionable insights.
  • Drive analytics for strategic projects including scenario analysis to support key business decisions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 6+ years of work experience in forecasting, marketing sciences, market research, strategic consulting, or analytical roles in biotech/pharmaceutical industries with leadership and management experience.
  • Track record of delivering actionable insights through forecasting and marketing analytics projects.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and forecasting software (e.g., Crystal Ball, Forecast Pro).

Nice to Have

  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • MBA or related graduate degree is a plus.
