About the Role

The position is responsible for the development and execution of KOL engagement strategies across the CNS TTL team to drive advocacy and enhance Teva's reputation in the healthcare community. The role involves strategic leadership of Thought Leader Liaison initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas, working collaboratively with Brand Leaders and the IM commercial team to raise and maintain Teva's positioning with KOLs, gain insights, and drive stakeholder engagement. The role also includes building and executing KOL engagement strategies, acting as the primary contact with the Field Sales team, and supporting medical education and brand strategy efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of KOL engagement strategy and operational plan aligning with broader commercial objectives and specific product and therapeutic area goals.
  • Leverage scientific insights and strategic relationships to drive Teva's commercial objectives in the US market.
  • Ensure execution and oversee development and implementation of individual KOL plans aligned with commercial goals.
  • Hire, coach, train, and develop the TLL team’s strategic competencies and clinical expertise for deeper KOL engagements.
  • Shape an organizational culture of innovation and excellence in stakeholder engagement and direct TLL activities to execute engagement and medical education strategies.
  • Partner with the KOL Strategy and Congress Planning Team to ensure alignment at national and regional events.
  • Build and maintain collaborative, compliant relationships with peers in Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and Medical Affairs.
  • Work with the Field Sales team on thought leader initiatives and programs.
  • Develop mechanisms to collect insights from TLLs, synthesize, communicate, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Establish governance frameworks and collaborate with Medical Leadership on engagement strategies and planning.
  • Engage with KOLs to gather feedback that informs brand strategy.
  • Provide vision and direction to the TLL team for executing the IM portfolio engagement strategy.
  • Contribute to IM Marketing strategy for conferences, sponsorships, messaging, and advocacy engagement.
  • Align interactions with thought leaders to ensure consistent messaging and experience.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics with IM Marketing and field leadership to support brand goals.
  • Manage team performance, provide feedback, and ensure accountability to KPIs.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the neurology and/or Psychiatry therapeutic space and ensure team does the same.
  • Analyze market data, confirm data reliability, and inform stakeholders for decision-making.
  • Engage with Legal and Compliance partners to ensure ethical standards in programs and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (required); Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with neurology and/or Psychiatry KOLs (preferred).
  • 2 years of previous people management experience (required), TLL leadership preferred.
  • Experience in Marketing, Market Access, and/or Field Sales (preferred).
  • Broad industry domain expertise with strong knowledge of the neurology therapeutic area.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to work hands-on to deliver multiple priorities.
  • Ability to draw insights from various sources, analyze data, and recognize trends.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Approximately 65% domestic travel throughout the US.
  • Willingness to work remotely with a secure workplace and availability during core hours.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, especially in neurology or Psychiatry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Master's degree (preferred).
  • 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
