About the Role

This role is remote-friendly; however, candidate must be open to working PST hours. The Director, Media Analytics leads the development of data-driven solutions for clients—including report automation, analysis, and insight—with the objective of optimizing the performance of media initiatives. The Director will manage data and insight delivery processes, inspire creativity, and ensure all around team success. This individual will report to a VP, Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the completion of overall media measurement strategy on behalf of clients, including reporting, measurement, learning agendas, and test design.
  • Understand core client business challenges, and develop relevant measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning priorities.
  • Work closely with internal and client teams to identify business needs and analytics opportunities, developing tools, dashboards, and techniques to optimize media performance.
  • Guide the creation of reporting through automated processes, efficiently consolidating data from multiple sources into a cohesive view of performance.
  • Improve the quality of reporting by creating easy-to-follow weekly or monthly visual dashboards that partners will utilize to make informed business decisions.
  • Ensure alignment between day-to-day analytics support and approved measurement frameworks.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Participate in a team-wide culture of learning by staying current on industry trends, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members.
  • Offer thought leadership in the utilization of data, analytics, and insights to optimize and enhance clients' business.

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant Media or Analytics experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Understanding of digital planning and buying, with a focus on standard media metrics.
  • Experience aggregating data from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of digital media platforms such as DCM, SA360, TTD, FB, etc. (preferred).
  • Understanding of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics/Omniture.
  • Knowledge of dashboard products like PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio.
  • Knowledge of digital attribution methods, marketing mix modeling, measurement frameworks, KPI discovery, and tracking implementation (preferred).

  • Previous experience with data from digital media platforms such as DCM, SA360, TTD, FB, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
