About the Role

Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential and Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBH). They treat males and females ages 6-21 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses. The Director of Business Development serves as a key liaison, responsible for creating demand for the facility's services, enhancing the facility's brand/image, and managing territory and accounts to achieve business development goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies.
  • Create demand for the facility's services through ethical marketing principles and sales methods.
  • Present a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community.
  • Implement the facility's strategic sales plan and enhance the facility's brand/image.
  • Manage assigned territory and accounts effectively.
  • Work to achieve departmental and facility business development goals.
  • Demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required; experience may be evaluated in lieu of degree.
  • Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in marketing and/or sales within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of the Southeast behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets, referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment, and age-specific programming is preferred.

  • Experience in behavioral healthcare sales and referral development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Experience in referral development, account management, and sales
  • Valid Driver's License
