Director of Business Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes professional relationships with potential and current referral sources making contact with them on a regular basis.
• Analyzes data to identify trends, ensure efficiency and adjust strategy. Generates reports to communicate data and analysis.
• Supervises departmental staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s Degree a plus. Combination of education and experience may be considered.
• At least three (3) years' leadership experience in a health care business development position with extensive community education/business development experience resulting in measurable results.
• Experience developing managed care agreements, especially with capitation and at-risk areas.
• Detailed knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles highly preferred.
• Five (5) years' prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting highly preferred.
• Must have a valid Indiana driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Knowledge of the Indianapolis metro area behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets, and referral sources is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of marketing principles including product, placement, pricing, promotion, social media, and public relations.
• Skills in data collection, analysis, strategic planning, customer service, and training.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.

Nice to Have

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
