Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the growth strategy and roadmap to scale Cosmo's acquisition efforts across marketing channels.
  • Grow top of funnel awareness for Cosmo via paid channels including search, social, OTT, affiliates, podcasts, Amazon, etc.
  • Oversee and optimize Cosmo's full-funnel strategy and campaigns from awareness to conversion, guiding best practices and methodical testing of new approaches.
  • Own the building and managing of performance / acquisition / attribution data analytics to develop actionable insights across our funnel (strategy, channel, copy, creative, etc.)
  • Manage contractors/agencies and grow an in-house team owning all levels of growth, sales operations, and performance marketing across Cosmo: channel (e.g., Target, Walmart, Amazon), paid acquisition (search, social, OTT, podcasts), owned (email/SMS), and more.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our market and work cross-functionally with Product/Product Marketing, operations, social, etc. to identify new customer segments and channels to launch profitable sales strategies.
  • Build and mentor a team within our growth and performance vertical, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, working closely with product, engineering, and operations leaders to align acquisition and sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Track, manage, and optimize performance budgets and key metrics (CPAs, CAC, ROAS, CPMs) for maximum efficiency and impact.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in paid acquisition or growth marketing roles with proven results.
  • Experience driving results across the marketing funnel, with hands-on experience in at least two of the following: paid social, Google platforms (Search, Shopping, YouTube), television/streaming/OTT, audio (radio, podcasts), affiliate marketing, SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building actionable intelligence from attribution models and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Northbeam, Rockerbox).
  • Familiarity with common marcom techstack platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, ReCharge) and paid ad platform management (Meta, Google AdWords).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities on tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for Cosmo's mission and vision, with a desire to make a positive impact on families and children.

Nice to Have

  • Strong preference for experience in DTC / E-commerce / B2C growth and acquisition marketing.
  • Experience selling on third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Target).
  • Experience driving results across the marketing funnel in areas such as paid social, Google platforms, television (linear, streaming), audio (radio, podcasts, Spotify), direct mail, affiliate marketing, and SEO.
  • Previous management experience with the ability to grow, inspire, and lead a team effectively.
