The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading marketing strategies, brand management, and supporting growth initiatives to drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Own the marketing blueprint, reporting, and optimization to ensure channel activities drive the business forward and capture market share.
  • Perform lead generation campaigns and measure success of various marketing initiatives.
  • Promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
  • Conduct market research and develop marketing plans for growth areas.
  • Utilize data and financial acumen to make accurate strategic decisions.
  • Motivate, inspire, and lead team members while demonstrating a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality.
  • Drive profitable sales through brand execution while keeping the customer front and center.
  • Manage the brand strategy and execution of marketing that supports business development and growth.
  • Act as the main point of contact for public relations and media interactions.
  • Serve as a public voice for Daniel Defense and be familiar with brand and customer personas.
  • Support digital marketing and various eCommerce initiatives.
  • Pull relevant analytics and data to make efficient and effective decisions.
  • Lead successful product marketing initiatives.
  • Develop content strategy and oversee execution.
  • Manage ROI and support trade shows, including logistics and attendance.
  • Develop and track budgets and manage team accountability.
  • Create and enhance agency and partner relationships through proactive communication.
  • Ensure external communication aligns with core values and brand positioning.
  • Develop media planning, buying, and innovation strategies.
  • Provide design and direction for collateral, web, product packaging, and visual communications.
  • Enforce brand guidelines across marketing strategies and the business.
  • Drive social media strategies to reach new customers and expand brand awareness.
  • Partner with revenue and engineering teams to advance product initiatives.
  • Oversee marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Support, train, and develop team members to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Contribute to company standards on integrity, safety, fairness, and creating a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Marketing or business-related area.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all company stakeholders and collaborate across departments.
  • Skilled in Photoshop and video editing, with a motivation to learn and improve skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with company values.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Intermittent ability to stand, walk, sit, and bend throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including around machinery, noise, chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required.
