About the Role

Northwest Pump is looking for a Director of Marketing to drive growth efforts by partnering with sales, focusing on market analysis, lead generation, CRM-driven campaigns, and website management. This role will support the sale and promotion of products and services through digital and traditional channels, turning insights into action, supporting sales strategy, and strengthening presence in key markets. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment and enjoys blending analysis with execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all marketing efforts, including website management, digital advertising, content creation, email campaigns, and trade show support.
  • Execute targeted email campaigns and promotions using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Dynamics365) to drive lead generation, prospect nurturing, and sales outreach.
  • Develop product marketing content and sales collateral such as spec sheets, case studies, and guides.
  • Drive qualified traffic through SEO, paid search, and retargeting - whether in-house or via external partners.
  • Manage and optimize the eCommerce channel, including product listings, user experience, and digital merchandising.
  • Report on marketing performance and adjust tactics based on ROI.
  • Manage relationships with external marketing vendors and agencies.
  • Create and maintain consistent, brand-aligned messaging across all marketing channels and collateral.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with business development goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify TAM, new lead sources, and regional opportunities across business lines.
  • Build and maintain internal tools such as customer personas, market snapshots, and opportunity maps to support commercial planning.
  • Oversee and improve website content and structure to reflect current offerings and optimize for SEO and the digital buyer journey.
  • Lead development of customer-facing content including landing pages and campaign copy.
  • Manage social media presence, coordinating professional and timely posts related to company news, job openings, and project milestones.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing, ideally in B2B industries like industrial services, petroleum equipment, or construction.
  • Experience with brand integration or post-acquisition marketing is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and CMS systems.
  • Extensive experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Dynamics365.
  • Track record in lead generation, conversion optimization, and marketing impact on sales pipeline.
  • Strong grasp of SEO principles and experience managing or coordinating SEO efforts and search rankings.
  • Familiarity with paid advertising (Google Ads or working with a paid media agency).
  • Experience with product data, digital catalogs, and technical content development.
  • Strong ability to turn marketing data into action plans and report clearly on performance.
  • Familiarity with design and content tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong sense of collaboration.
