Director of Marketing Global Biosimilars, Commercial Strategy and Capabilities

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead long-range planning efforts by evaluating, recommending, and driving the implementation of strategic options to ensure the long-term commercial success of the global biosimilars portfolio.
• Support development of strategies to identify commercial potential while flagging relevant risks and opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial analytical and insights needs, partnering with SME leads where needed.
• Lead the competitive intelligence function for BBU, supporting product teams for pipeline and launch products.
• Support the development of new dashboarding using AI to measure and track efforts and enable learnings.
• Organize and facilitate strategic exercises and competitive simulations to generate insights and plans.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of the technology roadmap for BBU, including AI/ML, automation, and digital tools.
• Champion change management for the adoption of new technology platforms across the BBU organization.
• Develop and foster new ways of working across the BBU to support growth and efficiencies.
• Build productive relationships with key stakeholders to define business problems and develop analytical plans.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 4 years of Marketing, Analytics, or Strategy Consulting experience, or Master's degree with 8 years, or Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience managing people and leading teams, projects, or programs.
• Strong strategic thinking and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities.
• Proven project management skills and experience managing multiple large projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical industry databases and insights generation.

Nice to Have

• 10+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience with management skills.
• Deep understanding of marketing and strategy concepts.
• Experience with insights generation in healthcare or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of oncology market.
• Understanding of at least one other functional area in business analytics such as market research, forecasting, or marketing analysis.

Qualifications
