About the Role

The Director of Product Management and Product Marketing for AIML Technologies at Apple is responsible for leading a team that defines, develops, and launches core AI technologies and experiences across Apple's ecosystem. This role involves shaping strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating product and marketing requirements to create innovative AI-driven products that enhance user and developer experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team involved in the definition and launch of core AI technologies and experiences across Apple's operating systems and products.
  • Help shape and communicate the strategy for AI technologies and models, and the capabilities they can power across the ecosystem.
  • Develop and apply insights to infuse innovative features into the development process.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to investigate new concepts and ideas.
  • Craft product and marketing requirements based on market insights.
  • Guide marketing communications, including creation of launch materials and product messaging briefs.
  • Act as a spokesperson in press briefings and public events.
  • Partner with teams and feature groups to deliver AI-powered products that enrich users' lives.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of experience, including leading product management and/or product marketing teams through multiple AI-focused product cycles.
  • Deep understanding of AI, models, training, and product experiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and marketing teams.
  • Experience recruiting and supporting the growth of product managers and marketers.
  • Strong leadership skills in influencing high-level executives and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to synthesize complex AI technology into clear product communication for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Experience as a product spokesperson on a national or global level.
  • Bachelor's degree; MS/MBA preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.
