The role of Director of Sales involves leading and developing a high-performing sales team in a fast-paced resort environment, with a focus on strategic execution and exceeding performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Managers and Vacation Ownership Consultants to achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Recruit, train, and develop top-tier sales talent in alignment with company expectations and compliance standards.
  • Monitor and manage daily operations of the sales floor to ensure consistent performance and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Partner with marketing and resort operations to optimize tour flow, lead generation, and close ratios.
  • Analyze sales metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold company values and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in vacation ownership/timeshare sales, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and developing high-performance teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule based on business needs.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required (experience may substitute).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance analytics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of vacation ownership/timeshare sales experience
  • At least 2 years in a senior leadership or director-level role
