About the Role

The Director, Omnichannel Marketing at Daiichi Sankyo is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing the overall omni-channel marketing strategy across key customer segments. The role involves assessing digital opportunities and threats, ensuring smooth execution of digital platforms, measuring ROI and KPIs, and managing media strategies. The position supports the company's vision to become a global pharma innovator with a focus on oncology, rare diseases, and immune disorders, leveraging innovative digital solutions to enhance customer engagement and brand messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support value proposition creation of Daiichi Sankyo marketed products by identifying gaps, trends, and opportunities across all channels.
  • Assess challenges and organizational dynamics to deploy technologically advanced tools that optimize customer experience and reinforce brand messaging.
  • Evaluate and recommend new optimization methods to improve customer experience and increase web traffic.
  • Generate innovative ideas to meet web best practices and maximize brand strategies and identities.
  • Facilitate long-term strategy implementation to produce profitable access while meeting short-term brand performance metrics.
  • Work with IT and external vendors to manage user experience across platforms and assist with problem resolution.
  • Partner with brand teams, sales, operations, and market access personnel to ensure digital, financial, and strategic optimization.
  • Ensure customer 360 insights are incorporated into analytics, are compliant, and validated.
  • Lead organizational change to create and sustain digital capabilities and foster productive relationships with senior decision makers.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of marketing and omni-channel strategy, including budget, project management, and communication channels.
  • Oversee print channels to ensure effective dissemination of communication and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related area preferred.
  • MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related area preferred.
  • 10 or more years of overall related experience required.
  • 7 or more years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies required.
  • 4 or more years of pharmaceutical experience including sales, marketing, IT, or market access leadership preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in sales, marketing, IT, or market access leadership.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in marketing, business administration, or related fields as specified.
  • Significant experience in digital marketing and pharmaceutical sectors.
