Director, Product Management & Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an organizational growth strategy to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals, including aspiration, vertical markets, key customers and geographies, enablement, execution, and reporting.
• Develop and implement business infrastructure, systems, processes, and controls in complete alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
• Optimize business processes, implement effectiveness measures, and drive process efficiencies.
• Manage department budgets, staffing, priorities, and execute other day-to-day management activities.
• Implement and manage the Legrand Way offer creation process.
• Ensure successful launches of new products and services from ideation through the entire product life cycle.
• Build and manage a team of product managers responsible for creating product roadmaps for their respective verticals while ensuring products and features exceed customer expectations.
• Plan and implement a comprehensive marketing program for clients and targeted prospects, including all relevant forms of marketing communication.
• Recommend Channel and Agency Partner alignment strategy.
• Responsible for all other strategic initiatives as identified by the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years in the commercial electrical industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the electrical market and sales channels within the market.
• Ability to provide vision and leadership to each functional department.
• Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strategic, visionary, creative thinker with the ability to attract and manage creative people.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

• Sales and Product Management experience.
• Lighting and/or lighting controls experience.
• Sales and Production Management experience.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of experience in the commercial electrical industry.
