Senior Product Manager, Digital Pathology Solutions

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the Genius Digital Diagnostics System, driving product innovation, growth, and commercial success.
• Serve as the product leader for all aspects of digital imaging, image management, and review components of the system, collaborating with R&D and engineering teams to define customer requirements that deliver clinically relevant solutions and optimize customer workflows.
• Act as the voice of the customer by building strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders to gather insights, drive advocacy, and understand evolving needs in digital pathology and IT landscape.
• Implement effective commercial programs and go-to-market activities in partnership with internal stakeholders, including creating sales training tools and resources highlighting clinical and workflow benefits.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis focusing on digital health trends, IT solutions, and customer engagement models to inform product positioning and development.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from new feature development to post-launch optimization, ensuring effective communication of product changes to global teams and customers.
• Partner with internal stakeholders such as R&D, operations, quality, regulatory, and sales to ensure alignment and timely execution of product initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management and/or marketing experience in the medical device, diagnostics, or laboratory environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field; an MBA is preferred.
• Knowledge of digital pathology, medical device software, or IT integration within a clinical or laboratory setting is highly desired.
• Experience with data management and cybersecurity for medical devices is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deeply understand customer needs and develop customer engagement strategies.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead, inspire, and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with talent for presenting complex technical and clinical information to diverse audiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data management and cybersecurity for medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field.
• An MBA is preferred.

Benefits & Perks

• Annualized base salary range of $132,100 to $206,600, bonus eligible.
• Hybrid role with 3 days onsite per week in Marlborough, MA.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 35%, including some international travel.
