Director, Product Management (Gas Purification)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional, global teams to execute on market and product line strategy, including product definition, commercialization, manufacturing, pricing, and product lifecycle planning.
• Drive profitability of the market segment in line with BU P&L targets, including understanding cost structures and managing in-market pricing.
• Build product/technology roadmaps and define market requirements for product development to ensure future market success.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through voice of customer initiatives and advocate for all organizational levels.
• Drive new product sampling and adoption with key customers and partners.
• Align on portfolio management and secure resources for key product and market priorities.
• Support operations by making critical decisions on production priority and allocation as necessary.
• Understand and develop competitive market positioning and conduct market share analysis.
• Maintain and update revenue forecasts in coordination with sales and operations; drive long-term capacity planning.
• Manage and train successful Product Managers to support individual market segment goals.

Requirements

• A technical background with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Material Science, or related fields; a Master's Degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the gas purification business, including fundamentals and semiconductor market requirements and competitors.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processes.
• Solid foundation in principles of Product Management.
• Successful track record of leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to deliver growth in critical product lines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while leading cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in portfolio and P&L management with understanding of key financial metrics.
• Excellent people management and communication skills, including delegation, feedback, teamwork, and performance management.
• Ability to travel globally up to 20% of the time.
