About the Role

The primary role of Product Solutions Marketing function is to plan, manage and coordinate the introduction of new products into global markets, including formulation of marketing communications plan and product training materials. Key deliverables include working on launch strategies, action plans and toolkits in conjunction with stakeholder inputs and field requirements (professional and consumer). Managing mature products throughout their lifecycle, including post-market support, product improvements and obsolescence. Communicating global competitor activities and products to the product development project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
  • Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
  • Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.
  • Establishes pricing strategies.
  • Works with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
  • Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organizational mission.
  • Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
  • Interactions often involve negotiating with customers or management or influencing senior leaders regarding significant matters.
  • Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional roles.
  • Leads larger teams, multiple sub-teams, or large teams with complex or highly technical responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or commercial roles, preferably in healthcare, medical technology, or consumer health.
  • Strong leadership track record with experience managing complex teams and mentoring professionals.
  • Demonstrated success in launching products globally and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Expertise in market research, customer insights, positioning, and pricing strategy.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience.
  • Ability to define and resolve complex problems beyond existing methodologies and own discipline.
  • Demonstrated versatility.
