Our Marketing teams build lasting, trusted relationships with medical professionals and industry stakeholders to ensure patients receive the treatments they need. The Senior Product Manager, THV Marketing, plays a key role in product development from inception through first commercial launch, focusing on transforming patient care with devices supported by clinical evidence and maintaining market leadership in transcatheter heart valve solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify all aspects of product development from project inception through first commercial launch, document and help manage the development and introduction of new products and technologies.
  • Plan marketing projects and activities with accountability for successful completion within scope of project deliverables including supporting technical team meetings and driving product design requirements using voice of customer inputs.
  • Partner closely with key thought leaders to anticipate future market environment, changes in economic climate, new competitors, substitutes, and adjacent players, and to predict/drive future customer needs.
  • Collaborate with management to create, communicate, and execute global market strategies and actionable market plans to advance the business and generate value.
  • Collect and interpret voice of customer (VOC) to define product requirements.
  • Provide direction and guidance to smaller project teams to execute tactical marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate marketing process improvements and/or course correction opportunities.
  • Perform other incidental duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of work experience or Master's Degree or equivalent with 6 years of related experience in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in medical device or healthcare industry preferred.
  • Proven successful project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to build and coach others to create market models and determine key financial metrics and market opportunities.
  • Ability to create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the clinical areas where Edwards' products are used, including the purchasing process and challenges for product adoption in complex healthcare networks.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues.

Nice to Have

  • Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization and contribution to development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Ability to forecast product lines based on market development, sales trends, competition, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to assess and understand market share, pricing, ASPs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship management with regional sales, clinical specialists, governmental affairs, clinical economics, and training teams.
  • Ability to represent leadership on project sections and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree or equivalent.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's or 6 years with a Master's.

  • For California, the base pay range is $123,000 to $174,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
