Director, Strategic Marketing - Bioprocessing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy into a global campaign strategy that supports business objectives, in collaboration with Purolite resin Product Management.
• Develop and refine global marketing campaigns on an annual and as-needed basis, partnering with Marketing Communications to translate marketing strategy into campaign strategies.
• Monitor industry drivers/trends, competitive positioning, and messaging in partnership with Product Management and Market & Competitive Intelligence to inform campaign strategies, including reactive campaigns.
• Develop strategies to communicate company and business-level value propositions and messaging to key customer personas such as procurement, PD, MSAT, regulatory, and executives.
• Refine segment strategy for prioritized bioprocessing segments, including positioning, targeting, and value proposition/messaging creation.
• Identify new growth opportunities by evaluating emerging markets and segments with potential to accelerate the uptake of Purolite resins.
• Develop cohesive strategies, review business cases and financial analyses, and enable reporting and tracking of new growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all Purolite Resin and Ecolab requirements, including branding, legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Serve as a lead for junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and navigating the business.
• Communicate effectively with teammates, leadership, stakeholders, and customers by being attentive, responsive, proactive, and sensitive to competing demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Science (chemistry or biology).
• At least 8 years of marketing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, with specific knowledge/experience in biologics drug manufacturing.
• Experience in building and implementing a marketing strategy on a global scale.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, good attention to detail, and well-developed leadership qualities.
• Strong executive presence and a track record of engaging with cross-functional leaders to drive complex initiatives.
