Director Strategy Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop/enhance and facilitate implementation of the business planning process.
• Assist division and sector teams in developing strategies and business plans.
• Lead/assist division and/or sector teams in completing agreed key strategic actions.
• Monitor strategic progress and facilitate successful completion of targeted actions.
• Define, assess, and develop products that will accelerate NORAM revenue and profit growth.
• Lead the development of advanced systematic processes to manage product development, from idea creation to delivery and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Manage acquisition and partnering strategies/objectives.
• Identify and vet target companies that increase the scope and scale of DSC's capabilities, including industry domain experts, consultancies, and financial advisory firms.
• Support establishment and growth of strategic partnerships.
• Identify potential acquisition targets.
• Assist with modeling and valuation.
• Lead due diligence process.
• Prepare project papers and presentations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, English, Logistics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with real supply chain issues for company(s) in one of our sectors.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning/analysis, account management, or acquisitions/strategic partnerships.

Nice to Have

• MBA
• Experience as a management consultant or investment banker or working in a strategic role in supply chain function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience in supply chain issues and strategic planning
