About the Role

Director Strategy Development (US-O) at DHL Supply Chain supports the development of strategic and business planning, product development, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic alignment of the company's businesses. The role involves providing advanced support for strategic activities, working closely with sector leads, and defining and developing strategic products to enhance the company's growth and capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Develop/enhance and facilitate implementation of the business planning process.
Assist division and sector teams in developing strategies and business plans.
Lead/assist division and/or sector teams in completing agreed key strategic actions.
Monitor strategic progress and facilitate successful completion of targeted actions.
Define, assess, and develop products that will accelerate NORAM revenue and profit growth.
Lead the development of advanced systematic processes to manage product development, from idea creation to delivery and ongoing performance monitoring.
Manage acquisition and partnering strategies/objectives.
Identify and vet target companies that increase the scope and scale of DSC's capabilities, including industry domain experts, consultancies, and financial advisory firms.
Support establishment and growth of strategic partnerships.
Identify potential acquisition targets.
Assist with modeling and valuation.
Lead due diligence process.
Prepare project papers and presentations.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Business, English, Logistics or related field.
7+ years of experience with real supply chain issues for company(s) in one of our sectors.
5+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning/analysis, account management, or acquisitions/strategic partnerships.
