About the Role

The Director, Walmart and Club Channels will be responsible for leading the creation of omni-channel strategies and plans for the Walmart, Sam's, Costco, and BJ's Club businesses across North America. This role involves integrating category management with brand strategies and pricing to create a competitive advantage at the customer level, setting the overall strategic framework, vision, policies, resources, and expectations within the organization. The position also includes mentoring and developing associates across the NA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the aligned strategic and tactical direction of the Walmart, Sam's, Costco, and BJ's Club businesses.
  • Supports the development and attainment of the overall strategic plan and annual operating plan (AOP) in conjunction with the producer business unit (PBU) presidents.
  • Owns the profit and loss (P&L) for Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, and BJ's in the United States and Canada.
  • Leads with Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Category Planning, and Channel/Customer Marketing leadership to develop objectives, initiatives, and set priorities.
  • Responsible for channel and goal agreement and achievement with customers.
  • Drives effective communication of strategic initiatives, team performance, and business results.
  • Responsible for the personal growth and development of talent and teams within Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, and BJ's channels for North America.

Requirements

  • 15 or more years of experience building a track record of best-in-class omni-channel and category planning capabilities in senior leadership positions within the Consumer/Commercial Products industry.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Sales, Channel Marketing, and Category/Trade Marketing Management, preferably within Club Channels.
  • Consumer Marketing/Categories experience is desired.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

  • Consumer Marketing/Categories experience.
