District Event Marketing Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up.
• Identify, schedule, and plan the event calendar for the team of Event Marketers in the assigned district.
• Manage budgeting and staffing for local events.
• Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to promote the brand and generate new sales leads.
• Manage event marketing material and equipment setup and tear down.
• Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence within the local market.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers and establish accountability through goals and KPIs.
• Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for organizational cohesiveness.
• Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI.
• Exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 2+ years in a managerial position.
• Strong recruiting and training skills.
• Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of current best practices and strategies for event marketing.
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and attend pre-scheduled events.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to Have

• Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.
• Previous management experience in Direct-to-Consumer marketing.
• Experience in multi-unit management.
• Previous experience in home improvement event marketing.
