EDI Technical Delivery Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Healthcare Products and EDI Projects from design to deployment, and provide implementation support efforts.
• Contribute to building and maintaining modern applications with cloud native architecture.
• Manage oversight throughout project execution to ensure successful delivery aligned with stakeholder goals.
• Lead a team of Scrum Masters/Managers, ensuring progress and addressing project challenges.
• Own the delivery team as a supervisor, managing performance and assigning daily tasks.
• Ensure adherence to processes and timely implementation of product vision.
• Understand risks and dependencies, increasing value delivered through the project/product lifecycle.
• Update and maintain all production technologies, ensuring proper maintenance and installation.
• Develop comprehensive project/product plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
• Coordinate with various managers and technical teams, ensuring documentation for knowledge management.
• Define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members on specific projects.
• Work effectively with diverse teams including developers, engineers, architects, QA, and operations.
• Execute all aspects of large construction projects, from planning to implementation and completion.
• Approve concept designs, deliver project schedules, and allocate resources.
• Manage internal staff hiring, mentoring, training, and evaluation.
• Hire and manage contractors, architects, engineers, and interface with stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules, monitoring milestones and status reports.

Requirements

• 15+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of managerial experience.
• 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing Healthcare EDI Transactions.
• Experience leading EDI Transformation projects.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions such as 270, 271, 276, 277, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837, 999, etc.
• Deep functional knowledge of Healthcare processes, especially Medicaid Business.
• Awareness of Cloud native architecture and related technologies.
• Understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing talent in technology teams.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Personal accountability in decision-making and supervising teams.
• Experience working in collaborative environments and promoting teamwork.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied in managerial contexts.
• Ability to proactively identify and address challenges.
• Exposure to Enterprise architecture and development.
• Knowledge of NoSQL, Microservices, and Cloud technologies.

Nice to Have

• Agile/Scrum Certification.
• Hands-on Development experience in prior roles.
