The role of Email & Web Personalization UX Developer involves designing and developing engaging, user-centric experiences across email and web platforms to support personalized marketing initiatives, drive engagement, reduce digital friction, and elevate the brand experience. The position requires close collaboration with marketing, design, content, and development teams to deliver high-quality, responsive email templates and personalized web components that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop modular, responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, and inline CSS best practices.
Build and maintain modules in platforms like Taxi for Email, ensuring compatibility across email clients and devices.
Implement control flow logic using Liquid or similar templating languages to support dynamic content and personalization.
Optimize email performance, including rendering speed and accessibility.
Conduct usability testing and analyze user behavior to improve email experiences.
Collaborate with UX designers and developers to implement personalized web experiences using tools like Salesforce Personalization (Evergage), Site Core, or similar.
Develop reusable components and templates that support A/B testing and dynamic content delivery.
Ensure consistency in design and UX across email and web touchpoints.
Support the integration of personalization strategies across platforms, leveraging user data and behavioral insights.
Work closely with UX & Digital technology, creative, channel owners, and analytics teams to align UX efforts with campaign goals.
Stay current with trends in email and web UX, personalization, and accessibility standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in email development and/or web UX development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and templating languages.
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo) and web personalization tools.
Familiarity with email testing tools (e.g., Litmus) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to Have

Experience with personalization platforms (e.g., Salesforce Personalization, Site Core).
Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation workflows.
Familiarity with agile development practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of relevant experience.
