Email Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create email marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing strategies.
• Develop compelling and creative email content, including copy and visuals, to drive engagement and achieve campaign objectives.
• Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
• Implement audience segmentation strategies using customer data and insights to optimize targeting and personalize content.
• Conduct A/B testing on various elements of email campaigns to optimize performance.
• Utilize analytics tools to monitor email marketing performance (KPIs), extract insights, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Implement and manage email automation workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, platform updates, competitors, and regulations (including CAN-SPAM and GDPR) to ensure campaigns are innovative, effective, and compliant.

Requirements

• 3+ years of marketing experience in email marketing or related digital channels.
• Knowledge of or experience with life sciences, laboratory, or process/industrial products preferred.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and automation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in email content and campaigns.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure within deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a sophisticated, matrix business environment.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability within a rapidly changing organization.

• Experience in life sciences, laboratory, or industrial products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited higher learning institution in marketing, science, or related area.
