Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer selection of Samsung for DRAM-based memory solutions used in various applications.
  • Drive successful engineering engagement to establish Samsung as the lead supplier for design-in and qualification activities.
  • Coordinate technical program management, customer relationship management, and engineering debugging in a collaborative environment.
  • Interact with sales teams and internal stakeholders to align with customer objectives and foster deeper engagement.
  • Support self-qualification activities and understand DRAM SI/PI and timing analysis measurements.
  • Control and follow up on Product Change Notices (PCN) and organize Quarterly Technical Reviews (QTRs).
  • Present roadmaps and market outlooks to customers and internal teams.
  • Develop expertise to provide first-line technical or operational issue resolution.
  • Synchronize with Samsung business teams to ensure alignment of technical and business strategies.
  • Manage critical relationships with key customer decision makers.
  • Organize technical communication with customers to facilitate problem solving and verification procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or related Physical Science with 3+ years of experience, or Master's with 1+ years, or PhD with 0+ years of industry experience.
  • Familiarity with DRAM memory design, architecture, or system architecture.
  • Background in Signal Integrity/Power Integrity (SI/PI) and timing measurements.
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, fab processes, and advanced package technology.
  • Experience supporting DRAM memory products and supporting customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Prior experience as an Applications, Development, Design, or Validation Engineer, or a related technical role.
  • Customer support experience for DRAM products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills for driving customer enablement strategies and debugging activities.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 1-2 times per year.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in chipset bring-up and debugging, system architecture, memory interface design, and platform validation.
  • Fluency in Korean.
