This role will be part of the Regulatory Reporting team, we are currently modernizing our platform and migrating it to GCP. You will contribute towards making the platform more resilient and secure for future regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance and adherence to Federal Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions.
  • Manage large teams and balance multiple priorities.
  • Learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential.
  • Support the Regulatory Reporting for US Market, Lombard/Axiom, and key reports for Capital and Liquidity.
  • Contribute to making the platform more resilient and secure for future regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to Federal Regulations.
  • Conduct IT requirements gathering.
  • Define problems and provide solution alternatives.
  • Create detailed computer system design documentation.
  • Implement deployment plans.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to provide high-quality IT consulting solutions.
  • Support consulting team in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.
  • Participate in unit-level and organizational initiatives under supervision.
  • Diagnose root causes of issues and perform secondary research to assist in strategy and business planning.

Requirements

  • Preferably a BS degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong expertise with handling large volumes of data from disparate systems.
  • Strong expertise with Core Java, multithreading, backend processing, transforming large data volumes.
  • Working knowledge of Apache Flink, Apache Airflow, Apache Beam, open source data processing platforms.
  • Working knowledge of databases and performance tuning for big data scenarios, including Oracle DB and In Memory Processing.
  • Experience with Cloud Deployments, CI/CD, and Platform Resiliency.
  • Strong experience with SRE practices, GIT Hub Automation, code coverage, and documentation automation.
  • Good experience with Mvel.
  • Ability to interpret technical and business objectives and challenges.
  • Experience with managing teams and multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of Regulatory and Compliance Reports.
  • Experience with React, Node JS.
  • Experience with GCP - BigQuery, Data Flow, Data Migration to BigQuery, and CloudSQL.

Qualifications

  • A BS degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with handling large data volumes and big data processing.
  • Proficiency in Core Java, multithreading, and backend processing.
  • Knowledge of Apache Flink, Airflow, Beam, and databases like Oracle.
  • Experience with Cloud Deployments, CI/CD, and platform resiliency practices.
