Job Description

About the Role

The role will be responsible for writing, editing, and publishing content related to sector and industry investing, as well as exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This includes managing the development of content using various platforms for collaboration, approvals, design, and publishing. The candidate should have excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, be a self-starter, curious, and possess financial services and asset management experience. The team is part of State Street Global Advisors, a leading asset manager serving governments, institutions, and financial advisors worldwide, with over four decades of experience and trillions of dollars in assets under management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the strategy, research, and marketing teams to create content and collateral that is timely and relevant to investors.
  • Produce content including insights articles, eBooks, infographics, videos, as well as web, email, and social copy in collaboration with colleagues on the research, social media, design, digital, channel marketing, and video production teams.
  • Manage editorial projects from conception through production, layout/design, compliance and legal approval, and publishing.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on content reviews to ensure content is appropriate and approved for use with the intended audience.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and editorial skills with an appreciation for voice, tone, and stylistic guidelines.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage, prioritize, and deliver writing and content projects on time.
  • Comfort with data and analysis; the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity, simplicity, and style; the ability to gauge audience needs and tailor content to specific use cases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, relationship building, and focus on business results.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering projects in scope and on time.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in financial services, including asset management and ETF products.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance considerations in financial content, especially with respect to registered products and FINRA requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with financial content creation and editing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in financial services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, and ETFs.
